New York Trip!!

Before heading home from Connecticut, we stopped by the Big Apple and visited New York City. The kids wanted to see the Statue of Liberty after learning about it last year. It was fun, fast paced, but my dad and I both agreed we kept it a short and sweet visit! We we were exhausted but overjoyed to spend the time together. The kids loved Central Park! Their favorite part was taking a horse ride through Central Park!

Connecticut Family Trip!!

We took a solo (with out Ben) trip out to Connecticut to visit my side of the family and it was amazing! I so wish Ben would have been able to make it! It was a whirlwind and we did so much, ate at ton, and didn't sleep much. The cousins played so well and they all loved on Papa. I can't tell you how much it warmed my heart to be with family! We went to a little amusement park, an Alpaca farm, blueberry picking, the local lake, a state park ocean spot, the Science museum, a local homemade ice creamery alongside so much playing and park visits!! I just loved out time there and the kids talk about it all the time. It is a trip we will always remember. I put it in my top 3 vacations of all time. It was such a blessing to spend 10 days with family and for the kids to get to know my side of the family better!
