Alivia's Half Birthday!

Happy half birthday Alivia! So this is kind of late, because I have been pretty busy. I have had many babysitting opportunities lately. We prayed for some babysitting jobs to come this way, and God has provided for sure. I scored an amazing nanny gig watching a friends kiddo part time! I have babysat for some Kissing Camel Members due to Ben's awesomeness. & I am currently watching my friends kid for the 4th of July weekend while she is out of time. I am thankful for these little blessings that have come my way. Anyways Ben and I argued (nicely :-)) about Alivia's true 6 month birthday... He was right! So since Livie was born on December 31, 2009, I always just refer to Alivia as 1 month older on the last day of each month- it's just easier that way. Well, Ben is definitely more accurate than me and actually goes every 31 days. Haha. So we argued when her half birthday actually was, I said that it was June 30, 2010 and he said it was July 1, 2010. Either way, we now have a 6 month old daughter who is truly a little lovely girl! She is so precious! Alivia's New loves lately: - Alivia loves to sit up now and is very good at it, only falling on occasion! - She just started to say "Mama" and this melts my heart! It's amazing how you don't teach them and they just know how to say it! We look forward to when she starts to say "Dada!" - Alivia really enjoys other kiddos! She will just stare at them for minutes sometimes. - Livie Loo likes the swings at parks. We have gone a couple of times now and she seems to really enjoy herself! - She likes the pool... We went to visit Uncle Chris at his apartment pool and she liked the water after she adjusted to how cold it was. She was splish splashing everywhere! We think Alivia is gearing up to crawl, we will alert you as soon as this happens. No signs of teeth yet, just in the teething process. I have a feeling this will actually be awhile, but we will just have to wait and see.
