And She Said (Lemonade)!!

Alivia was  having a hard day so I told her she had to make lemonade out of lemons. She told me she didn't understand so I explained to her that lemons are sour but lemonade is sweet. Sometimes you can have a sour mood or have situations that are sour, but if we take the positive out of the situation we can find lemonade or have a sweet mood. She nodded and I dropped her off at school. A few days later, something upset her and she walked away to calm down. She came back with a solution to her problem that was upsetting her and said "I made lemonade!" Yes, you did sweet girl. I hope she makes lemonade often when she is tossed lemons in life or chooses a sweet attitude over a sour one!
