We really enjoyed learning more about our country and North America as a whole. The kids favorites were The Scramble States of America video and books. They also enjoyed watching The Little House on the Prairie and about that time period. We have read part of the book "The Little House on the Prairie" but want to invest more in that book and the series during Christmas break and summer break.

| A little, age-appropriate introduction to slavery. The kids had a lot of questions about this and it was a smooth transition to learning about a difficult and hard time in our American history. |
