Autumn Equinox Dinner Celebration!!

We are really learning so much in our homeschooling journey. In one program, Exploring Nature with Children, we learned more about the autumn equinox. Really, it's fancy for the beginning of fall: shorty days, longer nights, cooler weather. Alivia and Nolan wanted to invite family over for a dinner celebration. We also finished Farmer Boy (more posts to come on that in our Playful Pioneer posts) and they wanted to double the fall party as a Farmer Boy feast celebration. It was really fun. We made Chili, cornbread, pumpkin shaped snickerdoodles, and mini apple pies.

Happy Fall, my favorite time of the year!!
