Circle Time Board!!

After searching though Pinterest many of nights and seeing circle time preschool boards. I thought it was a fun idea and a great start to our preschool days. We gather around the board and go through it before we start any of our activities for the day. Alivia is still getting used to the idea of sitting and focusing for 20+ minutes. Nolan sits for a bit but I let him go play or bring small toys over for him to play with. Along with the below learning items, we also read an alphebet book that coordinates with the letter of the week, read a bible story, and listen to a hymn during circle time. See below for pictures and links.

This board was a work in progress- this it how it looked at week 1.

This is how our board is now without any clip-ons and we love it. Alivia and Nolan love to clip the laminated items to the correct spots. {clips and themed paper from Hobby Lobby}
love the prayer: Lord help me to obey with a good attitude. Right away, all the way, every day! {http://www.homeschoolcreations.net/2010/03/homeschool-calendar-morning-board/}

This is where I put anything extra that we are going to cover for the week. I put an envelope on the back with blank pieces of paper to write out each Monday morning.

Verse of the week goes with the theme/Bible story of the week. I already wrote all of these out for each week and also put them in another envelope on the backside.

Here is where I put all the extra parts so we don't lose them (besides the Bible verses and extra pieces of paper, because those would not fit.)

The final product after everything is put on. :)
We love this little resource. It took some time to put together and I had to change it up a couple of times to get it exactly right and that works for the kiddos. I'm so glad I took the time to make it though. It really helps get the day started on a great foot with the kiddos.
